As a senior Ministerial Adviser to the Foreign Minister, Malcolm managed sensitive and complex communications issues on behalf of the Australian Government.

Malcolm’s deep and long-standing political connections in Queensland date back to his tenure as State Political Editor for the Courier Mail. His insights and relationships have guided clients to successful outcomes across a wide range of government projects. He is known for his calm and precise management of crises and complex issues.

In 2014, Malcolm joined SAS Group as the Director of Media and Communications where he was integral role in the firm’s growth, delivering successful outcomes for clients through his strategic vision and adept handling of media relations.

As Managing Director, Malcolm continues to drive SAS Group’s success, ensuring it remains at the forefront of political communications and advocacy in Australia. Malcolm is actively involved on the board of a charitable organisation, a Justice of the Peace (Qualified) and of holds a Bachelor of Arts (Journalism) from the University of Queensland, and a Masters of International Relations from Deakin University.
