SAS32 Principal Claire Lavers brings a successful career in sports leadership and management to the SAS Group.  Claire’s career in sport started with management roles within the Sydney 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Organising Committee.  Claire then worked in a variety of leadership roles in the UK including for the English Institute of Sport, Paralympics GB and the Lawn Tennis Association.

Whilst working in the UK, Claire studied for her Executive MBA at Bayes Business School in London and served on the Board of Triathlon England.  An accomplished distance runner in her youth, Claire was awarded ‘All American’ status when a scholar/athlete at the University of Arkansas in the USA.  Claire is still fit and active from her base on the Gold Coast and a qualified Bronze Surf Life Saver.
