Claire Lavers

Principal, SAS32

SAS32 Principal Claire Lavers is an experienced strategist and business coach, starting her corporate career with Levi Strauss and Esso Petroleum before following her success as an international distance runner into sport leadership and management.
Claire has direct experience in Olympic Games planning and operational management across sponsorship, ticket marketing and venue operations. Claire studied for her Executive MBA from Bayes business school in London whilst working for ParalympicsGB to lead and influence significant governance and operational change across several sports. The resulting Paralympic medal success in the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games was continued into the London 2012 Paralympic Games working for the Lawn Tennis Association. Claire also served on the Board of Triathlon England before coming to live in Australia.

  • The Hon. Larry Anthony AO, who was the Australian Government Minister for the Paralympics in Sydney 2000
  • Malcolm Cole, whose experience includes serving as Special Adviser to the Brisbane Lord Mayor and as Senior Adviser to the Australian Foreign Minister
