Nicolee has spent more than two decades as a print journalist and editor in the UK, USA and Australia. Since returning to Australia, she has run her own communications consultancy with clients in health, tourism, transport, environment and defence industries.

She has also worked in government communications and stakeholder engagement roles across health, biomedical, bio futures, mining engineering technology services, manufacturing, aerospace and defence industries.
