The Federal Government has successfully passed legislation to reintroduce the Australian Building and Construction Commission (ABCC). In short, this means the body abolished under the previous Gillard Government will now be resurrected.

On Friday, November 11, Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk announced new appointments to the Queensland Government Ministry.

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said Member for Rockhampton Bill Byrne would be the Government’s ‘champion for the bush’, while Member for Morayfield and former lawyer Mark Ryan would take on the Police, Fire and Emergency Services, and Corrective Services portfolios.
