Thanks to the Federal Government, Lives Lived Well (LLW) is adding a live-in rehabilitation service to the already wide range of services available in Caboolture, including withdrawal support, day rehabilitation, alcohol and other drugs counselling, and breakthrough for families.
‘Wunya’, the new residential rehabilitation centre in Caboolture, will house a six-week live-in drug and alcohol rehabilitation program for 20 locals at a time. Member for Logan Terry Young MP recently visited the worksite in Caboolture with LLW CEO Mitchell Giles to discuss LLW’s services and how it is supporting the health and wellbeing in the Longman community.
The ‘Wunya’ rehabilitation facility is funded by the Federal Government and is part of the $11 million boost Minister for Health, Hon. Greg Hunt MP, announced in June last year to help those battling drugs and alcohol in the Caboolture region. The facility is expected to be completed by the end of this year, with the official launch early 2020.
