Angela has three decades of experience in defence, journalism, corporate affairs and marketing. A former Australian Associated Press (AAP) journalist specialising in politics, finance and technology, before transitioning to corporate affairs and marketing. This rich experience across Australia and working overseas, has given Angela strong networks across media, politics, government, corporate and non-profit sectors. 

Angela’s experience includes working as an AAP political journalist in the Canberra Press Gallery as well as working in Sydney, Adelaide and as deputy bureau chief (COS) in Brisbane, where she was also state finance and national technology correspondent. Corporate affairs and marketing experience includes defence industry Public Affairs Director for Elbit Systems, General Manager of Communications and Marketing South Bank Corporation, Director Communications Queensland Resources Council and the Australian Defence Force. Upon leaving journalism Angela was a senior media advisor to the then Queensland Treasurer Andrew Fraser.
