Senior Consultant - Media and Communications
Lisa Carter joined the SAS Group in January 2014, bringing a wealth of media experience gained in radio and television. After graduating from the University of Southern Queensland with a Bachelor of Mass Communication, majoring in Journalism and Public Relations, Lisa embarked on a career as a producer with ABC Radio Southern Queensland, before moving to television with WIN News in Toowoomba as a journalist, producer, content writer and newsroom Chief of Staff.
Pursuing an opportunity with dmgRadio Australia, Lisa relocated to Brisbane as a journalist, producer and newsreader on morning radio with Nova 106.9. Lisa focussed her efforts primarily back on television with ABC News Queensland, while maintaining her radio experience at 4BC.
Much of this experience across broadcast media has been gained in the time-critical, detail-focussed and fast-paced news environment, in which attention to detail is critical, and tolerance for error is minimal. This transferrable skill set Lisa now brings to the SAS Group and its clients includes a high attention to detail, ability to produce engaging and succinct content, experience engaging a target market, and a thorough understanding of the modern media cycle.
The SAS Group is your trusted partner for government, media and corporate engagement.
