The entire team at the SAS Group is delighted that our Managing Director Peter Costantini has been recognised in the 2020 Queen's Birthday Honours.

Peter CostantiniPeter has been made a Member of the Order of Australia (OAM) for his service to business, particularly to education and training. Aside from a 10-year commitment to the SAS Group and its client, Peter has held a number of other professional and vooluntary roles in business and community groups.  These have included:

Director - Australian Training Products (since 2017)
Director - Innovation and Business Skills Australia (since 2006) 
Chairman - Queensland Overseas Foundation Incorporated (2000-2011) 
Board Member - Business Services Training Australia (2002-2006)
General Manager - Queensland Apprenticeship Services (1998-2004)
Marketing and Membership Manager - Chamber of Commerce and Industry Queensland (1994-1998)

And as most of our clients and friends will know, Peter has been a board member of the Brisbane Club since 2012, including serving a year as President.

SAS Group Director Larry Anthony said Peter had been long been known as a leader within the Australian skills and training sector.

"This announcement is long overdue recognition of what the training sector already knows - that Peter has been at the forefront of skills policy development and implementation for more than 20 years," Larry said. 

"Everyone at the SAS Group is delighted for him, and we consider ourselves very lucky to have such intimate knowledge of the industry available to our clients."
