As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to play out across Australia and the world, we are seeing many small businesses in particular having to make significant changes to adapt to the increasing measures and restrictions currently in place to try and contain the spread of the virus.

SAS Group client, the Rural Press Club of Queensland (RPC) is no different with the most immediate impact being the cancellation of their ‘in-person’ events until further notice. The Club’s determination to provide valuable information and insights during this time has led to the establishment of ‘RPC Online’; a webinar-based platform delivering the latest in agribusiness despite the changes in social behaviour which must now be adhered to.

Earlier this month, the RPC held their first RPC Online webinar with special guest, the Hon. David Littleproud MP, Minister for Agriculture, Drought and Emergency Management; the RPC received an overwhelming response with over 400 people registering to listen in. This was the first of many webinars which will be hosted by RPC as they continue to adapt to the changing world of networking and events as we have come to know it.

This interactive webinar series provides guests with an exclusive opportunity to hear from and engage with guest speakers from both industry and government. Keep an eye on the RPC website for upcoming events or email Ashleigh Nolan This email address is being protected from spambots. A recording of the webinar with Minister Littleproud can be found on the RPC website.

The RPC works in partnership with the SAS Group for event and membership management, sponsorship, marketing and administration.
